While searching for a late-night food spot in Jacksonville, we came across Mellow Mushroom, and I'm so glad we did! Being from the Midwest, we don't have Mellow Mushroom back home, so this was a real treat. We ordered the Cloud 9 Garlic Parmesan, Funky Q Chicken Pizza, bruschetta, and pretzel bites. Everything was delicious, but the standout for me was the pizza crust. It had the perfect texture and flavor, and honestly, I'd come back just for the crust alone. The Funk Q Chicken Pizza was packed with flavor, and the Cloud 9 Garlic Parmesan was a great choice for garlic lovers. The bruschetta was fresh and tasty, and the pretzel bites were soft, warm, and absolutely addictive. Pro tip: If you love their pizza crust as much as I did, order the pretzel bites. They have that same amazing dough and are the perfect appetizer. If I ever find myself back in Jacksonville, Mellow Mushroom will definitely be on my list. I'd happily eat that pizza again!

Grace was awesome! Quick, efficient, pleasing in demeanor and style! Couldn’t ask for more in an already elevated pizza experience. The Bayou Blue is an AMAZING pizza and should be on every Mellow Mushroom menu. Highly recommend!

Really good food. Service was a bit slow considering the amount of people in the restaurant but overall everything else was great. I like the unique combinations and how it’s not just another pizza place.

Jill is hands down one of the best bartenders around! Every time Kayla and I come into Mellow, she takes amazing care of us and always makes us feel welcome. She’s friendly, attentive, and somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly even when it’s busy. Her recommendations are always spot on, and she genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. Great service like hers is a big reason we keep coming back. When we came in to celebrate my dear friend’s birthday at Mellow Mushroom, we were already flowing in a beautiful rhythm—but Ryan elevated it into something unforgettable. His presence was masterful. Attentive without hovering, warm without overstepping, professional yet effortlessly human. That rare balance that can’t be trained—it’s felt. Every detail was handled with care, as if he understood the assignment beyond the table. And then… the wings. On a whim, we blended sweet chili with Thai flavors—and somehow created a masterpiece. What could have been a simple meal turned into a full sensory moment. Ryan didn’t just serve food—he co-signed the experience, moving with us as we created something unexpectedly delicious. I meant to write this sooner, but moments like this deserve to be honored properly. Ryan, thank you for tending to our evening with such precision and ease. You didn’t just do your job—you enhanced a memory. And that kind of service lingers long after the plates are cleared. We’ll absolutely be back.
